But!! Today is the day!!! The rally is starting in Glasgow at 11am until 5pm! Around 7 thousand people will be in Glasgow City centre to encourage another referendum ! But why? Why am I like a kid before Christmas? It's not just politics. It's more then that.
Now I understand a lot of my followers are from outside Scotland Apart from Kimmi, even the United Kingdom. I don't actually think I have one other Scottish or British follower LOL!
Let me explain why we want indepdence.
Scotland on its own has more Oil then Dubai. We get around 10billion from food and drink, 5 billion in tourism. We have a shit load of money. But it goes all straight to London. There's no jobs in Ayrshire. I'm being serious it is so hard to get a job here. The only jobs and chances you get having a job is in Glasgow or Edinburgh or Aberdeen...
The health service gets cuts because we hardly get any money to provide out people, mental health treatment, cancer treatments get cut. People get state payouts. But if you're 2 minutes late for a job centre interview you get your money cut. You only get £50 to live on for 2 weeks. The English government introduced a bedroom tax. Meaning if you have more then one bedroom in your house you have to pay £20 a month for it.... The Scottish government provided a benefit if you have more then one bedroom we will give you £25 to cover the costs of using it ...
A year ago we were promised if we said no to indepdence we would be given more powers. We have been given no new powers. People are waking up. People want change
And like I said in my past posts my nieces and children will grow up and live in an independent Scotland.
Let's get one thing straight. I don't hate England. I'm actually more English then Scottish. My two grandads were English, fought for the UK in World War Two, both on land in Africa and sea..
I do however hate how if the south of England vote for the party who make cuts and cuts and kick the disabled and ill it means Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland get ruled over. Even the north of England never voted for them!!!!!
How is that fair? I am so jealous of my followers, you all live in an indepdent nation, if I say to you I'm from the UK, you think England.
