How could i forget you?

I hope you made it a real good day with your loved ones and friends beside you, not to forget your wonderful mother, you taught me so much about her. You told me how she has been such an important figure in your life.
I hope you got drunk as fuck and really really fat on cake and sweeties, i hope the loved ones gave you gifts of what you needed, not what you thought you wanted, i hope you got a special gift. something that means the world. on a day like that the people come around and celebrate for you being here. I for one didn't celebrate, for obvious reasons, but i did say a little prayer for you, i just smiled, a big smile across my face for you. I hope you got the day you wanted because you deserved it, you have been there so much for so many people and i'm sorry but just like i wasn't a saint neither are they, they sometimes take you for granted, and you never ask to be thanked. thats what makes you, you. that's what makes you so caring and non boring. and just you. people may be scared of what you say, but i was never scared because i saw me in you. you're an angel and i'll say it blue in the face, with your oh so charming smile and words full of grace, you'll always be my bestfriend.
